These shoes are so comfortable. I get compliments every where I go. People saying they haven't seen this color before. This is my 3rd pair of Vans shoes. I bought my first pair 5 years ago and they're still in good condition! These are the most comfortable out of the ones I've bought. I'll be buying more colors soon! Great color for Spring!

Great take on an old favorite.
Oddly enough these shoes are a bit snug. I usually fit an 11.5 but had to return and buy a size 12. Otherwise the quality, light weight, and obviously comfort make this the perfect shoe for a 40 something not ready to give up style.

I just got these and they look amazing and have very nice fabric but I struggled getting them on since the laces were so tight. They will eventually break in though and are nice shoes overall

Pretty cool
I ordered these for my son, who's almost 11 and is a skateboarder. He had the Old Skool in high top form before, and loved them but struggled to get them on and off because of all the laces. I figured these would still look good and be functional for skating but hoped he wouldn't need so much help tying his shoes every morning! It's been mostly successful, although these have an elastic band inside the tongue that also make them a little hard for him to get on, and he complained that they felt tight at first, but now that he's worn them in a little I think he's comfortable in them. Overall a good purchase; wish they were a little easier to loosen up for lazy kids!

Decent sneaks
I don't skate. I'm just a middle aged guy looking for a decent pair of black sneakers to dress up some jeans. Not the absolute most comfortable I've ever owned, but still pretty good and the best ones I was able to find on this round. Black laces would have been a little better than the white ones, but easily replaced. Wish there was also one of those slots on the tongue to run the laces through.

Quite Unhappy
The ease of shopping online and picking up In store was wonderful. Very simple. However, I have giving these sneakers a couple of chances and they just are not comfortable! I already own a pair of the white comfycush and absolutely love them so I really thought the black version would be just as comfy. I just can't wear them for any real amount of time though. I wish I had returned them in a timely manner as they're just going to sit in my closet and collect dust. Is there any chance at all I could exchange them for another white pair?? Only wore them twice. Maybe someone else will find them more comfortable than I or maybe it's manufacturer flaw.

RUNS WAY TOO SMALL
Tried these for my son who only wears Vans in a size 9 1/2. Received 2 pairs of Vans, 2 different styles. The regular Vans fit as always and these were very snug and had to go back. Vans did not allow for the extra room that the padded insole took up. Very disappointed.

I would buy this again but...
I love my shoes but they arrived WITHOUT SHOELACES, FOR BOTH. It's hard to believe that no one checked this before they were mailed. I had to call them and have them shipped separately, so I couldn't wear them for a week until the laces arrived.

As expected, SO COMFY!
I work in an art studio so I am working on hard floors constantly which has been hard on my feet, so these shoes have worked like a DREAM. I find it hard to wear my other shoes now that I have started wearing these. NOTE: They did take a couple days to "break-in" but now they fit beautifully.

Worst pair of Vans I've owned in a long time!
Firstly, if you're someone like me that ties their shoes once and then slips them on and off -- you're not going to be happy with these shoes. It's painful how difficult it is to slip these shoes on because the heel is too rigid.
Secondly, these are the only pair of Vans I've bought that make flopping noises when I walk. I can't stand it!

Dressed Up Vans
I LOVE these shoes and have them in both white and black. The key to the dressed up look is the material. It's super sharp. The other upside is the focus on the tongue stability and the enhanced arch support.
It seems you are no longer making them in white with the "leather" (I think it is not actually) look. My size has been OOS for months. Hoping it's a supply chain issue, but would love to know if I need to find a new white sneaker for my dressier looks.

Can't Get This Shoe On!
Was so excited to get my comfy van's shoes this week! Just came today. However, I cannot even get them on my feet! I even put very thin nylon socks on and struggled for 10 minutes to get them on one foot. Help! I really want to love these shoes, but not if I can't even get them on. I normally wear a women's 7 and ordered that size. :(

Fair shoe
I bought these shoes about 6 months ago. They are very comfortable to wear, and have good support. I have worn them about 6 days a week for six months. The rear of the sole is getting compacted, so now I have to replace them. I would expect at least a year before this happened. I guess if the price seems to be to good there is a reason for it

I love these shoes! I'm recovering from a stress fracture in my foot and the doctor said I shouldn't be wearing my usual vans again, as it would re-aggravate it. I was determined to find a way around that because I've exclusively worn Vans for the past 15 years. I put these on and I have no foot pain! They're by far the most comfortable shoes I've worn and I'm going to start swapping out all my worn-out pairs with the Comfy Cush line.

Love my Vans but these...
This is my 5th pair of Old Skool Comfy Kush...the color scheme is amazing and the fit is spot on as usual. But this pair is rather painful to wear. The seam across the top that runs above my toes is very pronounced and hurts and bruises my foot. I've loosed them, tried to break them in but with no luck. Not sure they are all made this way, but this pair gets a no-go for me. QC check in order.

I do not recommend this product
I have had the black pair for a couple of months but have it not worn them of very rare occasions. I came back from school one day and seen that the front of my out soul were completely distorted. I own multiple pairs of vans and even an original canvas pair of old schools from a couple years ago and they are not anywhere close to how these look. I am extremely upset and disappointed, especially because I know the durability of the brand is very reliable.

I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet nearly all day. I was tired of coming home at the end of the day, feeling like my feet could fall off because they were so sore. So, I ordered these and I just hoped that the ComfyCush would be effective. And BOY OH BOY… I have literally worn them every day since I've had them, and my feet never feel tired at the end of the day. They are comfy, cute, and have saved my feet. My only complaint, is that I got some pretty gnarly blisters while breaking them in, but I'll take blisters and bandaids for a week in place of sore feet everyday for the next 9 months of my life. I'll definitely be purchasing more ComfyCush Vans so I can have a little variety. But I cannot express how much I love these shoes.

SIZE UP BY AT LEAST HALF!
Vans... if you're going to fix something that wasn't broken, at least make sure the sizing is consistent or say something about sizing up in the product description. I've been wearing Old Schools since the late 80's and I've been the same size since the 90's. I have never had an issue with the sizing until now. I had to make fists with my toes just to get these on and standing up and walking around wasn't going to happen. I can't give these an honest rating because I can't wear them and I'm annoyed that I have to send them back or drive 40+ minutes to the closest Vans store. Even more annoying is that you ruined the Pro Skate version of the Old Schools by making the lining white when it's been black for decades..
3 star rating for the total failure of the R&D and QA for not catching the sizing problem before they went into production... and it's not the insole. I matched these up with my previous pair and these are visibly smaller.

LOVE.
I am a devoted vans gal and have the slip ins and the regular old skool in black however, I have flat feet and my doc really does not approve of them but alas…never gonna give them up (in my Rick Astley voice). Anyway, I needed some clean white sneaks and decided to give these a go with the comfycush and they are SO comfortable. I saw some reviews saying they were narrow and while I don't have wide feet, being flat footed I'm really on the cusp and I had absolutely no problem in these. Bought my normal size (womens) 8 and had plenty of room, no issues with breaking them in either. Super happy with these and now want an all the colors!

I love these shoes, but why....
Why did you guys include an elastic strap that connects the tongue to the base of the shoe? It just becomes extra material that can cause blisters.

If you have wider feet, maybe try something else.
I have thin feet, but for some reason these were still pretty tight on me. It took about a week for them to break in and stop hurting. The tongue of the shoe is also connected with two elastic bands on each side that would leave creases in my foot, which was also a bit uncomfortable. The soles are really comfy though.

I got these for my husband and he wears these for a casual night out and he loves that he can match them with anything. The comfort is definitely there no pain when he broke them in. Just have to be careful with the fabric seems anything gets caught in it but its easy to wipe off.
