Shiekh joined forces with LA Conservation Corps to plant a total of 9 trees & 230 plants at the Compton Creek Natural Park for Earth Day. Together we planted 24-gallon box trees, 15-gallon trees, Desert Willow trees, California Sycamore trees, Engelmann Oak trees, and more.
Shiekh x Starter Tailgate Party
Shiekh and Starter hosted a Super Bowl LVI tailgate party at Shiekh DTLA. The event featured a Madden 22 tournament, food, drinks, and a live DJ.
Siempre Familia!
On November 2, 2021, Shiekh along with the community celebrated Día De Los Muertos (The Day of The Dead) at our DTLA store. We remembered and honored our loved ones by placing photos of them and presenting them with offerings at the altar. In addition, guests were greeted with a live mariachi band and the store held a live raffle for the Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Siempre Familia.'
Shiekh Harvest Festival
To close out Spooky Season, Shiekh hosted a Harvest Festival at their Headquarters in Ontario, Ca. Attendees from around the community were greeted with attractions, games, and giveaways. COVID-19 shots were also being given out to adults who wanted one.
Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Royalty' Release
Live like a king (for a day). To celebrate the release of the Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Royalty, select raffle winners were treated like royalty with a ride to the store in a Rolls-Royce, butler service in the store, and complimentary food and drinks.
Vans House of Terror
Shiekh Culver City kicked off Spooky Season with the Vans House of Terror. Freddy, Jason, and Pennywise terrorized the Shiekh Culver City store to celebrate the launch of the Vans House of Terror Collection.
Back To School Giveaway
In August 2021, Shiekh Impact passed out shoes, clothing, backpacks, and other school supplies to our local community at Shiekh Compton. The day was filled with live music, dancing, and a special appearance from BMIKEROB.
Earth Day 2021
As part of the ongoing effort to keep the environment clean and help stop global warming, the Shiekh team spent Earth Day cleaning up local Southern California beaches. A clean beach is good for both people and animals. Join Shiekh in our effort to minimize waste by using reusable bottles, recycling when needed, and picking up your trash.
International Women's Day 2021
From March 6th to March 8th, 2021, in celebration of International Women’s Day, we collaborated with a few female artists to create an art show at Shiekh DTLA. The winning artist received a pair of the Women's Air Jordan 9 Retro 'Change The World.'
Shiekh Holiday 2020 Toy Drive
2020 was a difficult year for everyone. During the holiday season, Shiekh wanted to give back to the community and spread some holiday spirit. On December 19, 2020, with the help of our friends at Young Visionaries, the city of Ontario, and the Ontario Police Department, Shiekh help a toy drive at its corporate office.
#VOTE
In an effort to encourage people to vote in the 2020 General Election, Shiekh developed a months-long #VOTE campaign. The campaign started by educating people on the importance of voting and encouraging people to register to vote. From October 30, 2020, to November 3, 2020, Shiekh opened up its community center and some stores to host in-person polling places.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Launch Party Hollywood
Hollywood, city of the stars. It was fitting that we chose the Hollywood location to host one of our epic launch parties. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is one of the most iconic silhouettes in the sneaker community so we went all out with this launch party. It was a party that even Kanye would have been proud of. Air Jordan 13 Retro 'Black Cat' Launch Party
With big style comes big responsibility. At Shiekh we knew that a sneaker such as the Air Jordan 13 Retro 'Black Cat' needed something to commemorate its release. Our launch party pulled out all the stops, from local artwork to an actual black cat! All of this took place at our San Francisco Market Street location. Shiekh Celebrates the Season of Giving
Style is for everyone. At Shiekh, we try to give back to those less fortunate than others. One way that we put these words into action is by donating clothes to struggling communities. While it might not be much in the grand scheme of things, any act goes a long way and we hope that any difference we make is in the right direction.
Glendale Galleria Remodel Grand Opening
Everyone needs a makeover every now and again. The same goes for our stores. A complete remodel of our Glendale Galleria location was done so that our customers buy some great looking clothes in a great looking store. We were extremely excited by how the store ended up looking and our customers were too!
Crooked i Visits Shiekh
An event that you didn't want to miss. Lines that were wrapping around the store to get the chance to meet Crooked I. We were fortunate enough to carry some of his merchandise while he made an appearance at our Fresno location. While our main focus is streetwear, the hip-hop community has always been at the root of how we do things here at Shiekh.
