Classic Leather Low Top Limited Colors
I love my leather low top chucks (white/white/black) and (taupe/white/black). The taupe is actually lighter in color than what it looks like on the website. They always hold up well, are soft and are comfortable. They fit like a glove every time. I love that Converse is periodically adding limited colors in leather to their normal leather line. Great move! It gives the customer the ability to buy different colors at a great price vs having to go into the custom shop. Keep adding more colors this way. I’d love to see a red, green and blue leather low top chuck available.

ORIGINAL ALL-STAR had no cushion
I don't like that they aren't the interior style they were before. The original style of converse were the absolute best. I've been wearing Converse since I was 15 size 5.5, is perfect fit for me. Ever since they got all different styles shapes of converse They got cushion inside,I can't with it. and I purchased 3 pairs the same 5.5 size they didn't fit they cut me to so now I'm stuck with all my old pairs wearing them till they fall apart, not good. They say original but they have cushion inside and slightly bigger than before

COMFORTABLE CLASSIC CHUCKS FOR WORK

Classic Staple
I have had at least 1 pair of chucks since I was 16 and I am now 40 (with 4 pairs of chucks, but who is counting). I decided it was time for a leather pair and I am glad I got them! Super comfortable, classic, timeless look and I am hoping the leather is helpful for cleaning and when it's a bit wet out. I am always an 8 in chucks but I followed the other reviews that suggested sizing down in these and I am glad I did. I got a 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

Love;but hope they soften
4 stars for now as I hope the leather softens as they get broken in. Typically I am an 8.5, but I know with Cons, I’m an 8. I am a classic canvas lover so the stiff leather is a shocker but I hope they soften over time. I love the clean white and have high hopes they stay white longer than my canvas ones.

Taupe is much grayer than brown

favorite classic wishing better quality
Obviously a classic but the quality is just down to the bare minimum by now. I wish there was a way to pay for premium materials ie converse made in japan. the white "leather" is literally peeling throughout the shoe.

I'm on my second pair. I bought my first pair over five years ago and accidentally left them at my best friend's house. I freaked out not knowing if or when I would ever get them back so I ordered a new pair because I literally cannot go without them--they are my default shoe for 99% of my outfits. I honestly think I've worn them every single day since they arrived. Chucks have been my go-to shoe since my teens and they still hold strong almost three decades later. They're simple in style and comfortable for a variety of terrains and weather conditions (though I don't recommend these for the snow lol). Every pair I've ever owned has lasted years and years, and my oldest pair is over 20 years old and still going. These certainly won't be my last if I ever need to replace them again. I'm a fan for life!!!

Favorite pair of classic white sneakers
Just got my second pair. The first pair lasted about 6 years of active walking. And they were still alright just a little too shabby looking so I decided it was time to get new ones. I usually wear size 6.5 in sneakers but sized down to 6. They fit well, but I feel like I could have even gone to 5.5, and they would still be fine.

I'm a Plain Jane
These are a great plain white leather pair of Chuckies.
The only thing that I would change would be to add an inch or two wide strip of soft cushioning to the top edge of the heel. Since the leather is a little stiffer than canvas, this area can chafe until you get them a little worn in and accustomed to your feet. This can be helped by wearing them with a well cushioned crew sock until then (the first 3-5 wearings). Other than this one small issue, I've been very happy with them. The thing that really attracted me to them was their classic style and that they have no blazing logos or accent stitching. Perfectly plain!

Terrible Quality
On the 2nd wear, the white bumpers started detaching from the leather upper, and after a week the entire side sections on both shoes were no longer attached. Now I now have box-fresh looking Cons where the white bumpers are only attached at the toe, and the heel.

Runs huge
It was suggested to get a half size smaller because they run a little big. They actually ran a whole size bigger. I bought an insole to fill in the space because I didn't have time to exchange them before my vacation. Even with the insole I still had room. I wear a 10 1/2 and bought a 10. These are a lifelong wardrobe staple in my closet. At 64 I now put orthotics in them for more support and they’re still the most comfortable, versatile shoes I own. Love the leather! As with the canvas chucks, I sized down from my normal 9-9.5 to 8.5W and they’re perfect! I’ll be wearing chucks well into my centurion years.

Function and Style over Comfort and Fit
Requires a good bit of break-in, but the sole is comfortable. The sizing definitely runs large, as I wear a 10.5 in most brands and these 10.5 offer almost an extra inch in the toe (still comfortable though, I didn't feel like I needed to exchange). The soles feels a little clunky and I make more noise than I'd like when I walk. BUT they fulfill stringent inpatient hospital shoe requirements, feel good overall, and look stylish. I'm hoping they last well!

Deeply Disappointed ☹️
I’ve wore this style of shoe for more years than I can count. I was so disappointed to find that they have been redesigned. I ordered the exact shoe and size that I’ve always worn, only to find that they are bigger, wider and poorly made. I’ll never understand why Converse felt the need to change something that was perfect to begin with. The old adage if isn’t broke, don’t fix it certainly applies here!!

Classic but not quite right
I like the shoes but they definitely run big but I thought the size .5 down wasn’t the right fit either so I kept the size. The whole where your foot is too big and I have to tie the shoes really tight to keep them on my feet because of this. And the shoe laces are different lengths which really bothers me. And since I have to tie them so tight the shoe laces are way too long and drag in the floor if I don’t tuck them into the shoes

Lightweight Classic
I saw a woman wearing these white low top Converse and after a second look noticed they were leather! I thought leather would be a great alternative to canvas for a white shoe so that I could easily clean them if they got dirty. The white isn’t a stark white and the leather is soft and the shoe comfortable. I received compliments the first day I wore them and upon first glance, no one could tell they were leather! I just wish Converse were true to size. I am a true size 10.5 and had to order a few different pairs to get the fit right. I ended up with a size 9.5. I think Converse would save a lot of money in shipping and a lot of headaches if their shoe sizes were honest and accurate.

lifting shoes

I’m a frequent gym-goer and make my shoes last by alternating black and white canvas Chucks during the spring and summer and leather ones during the fall and winter. Ordering from website size chart doesn’t match for Eur or cm. size to each other for anything. Normally Euro size I wear 43 for US size 10,5. In order the explanation I ordered size 10. It was still big for me.

Needs a WIDE option.
The elongated length makes it so the shoes will extend too much longer than the actual foot, causing less precision in toe movement. The width is too narrow as well, forcing one to wear a half size larger than it should be, contributing to the extra space in the toe. This results in the 7 being too tight (even after breaking them in), but the 7.5 being too big at the toe front yet the width now being correct. If there was a wide option I would consider purchasing.

I've bought 6+ pairs of chucks, size 9. They're never the same size. 2 pairs have fit perfect. These feel very big and the "leather" is only a very thin layer on the exterior. They feel cheap :(. Overall not very happy with the product.

i missed these!
i had a pair of leather converse years ago...i don't remember them being as comfortable as these are! now, i literally plan my outfits around wearing these...i want to wear them 24/7!! who knew i'd be so nuts over a pair of sneakers? these shoes go the distance! i originally ordered them for a retail job i was applying for....forget that because these are not going to just be work shoes...these are my go-to's for sure...they are the most comfy shoes i have and they are definitely better than ever! thx converse! i think i need them in hightops too!!

Classic but not quite perfect
On the inside of the shoe by the toe it feels like it wasn't completely trimmed. Also on the right foot it seems to curve slightly more than the left therefore there is rubbing. But in terms of style and vibe 10 out of 10 would recommend

Soft and Comfy
These leather shoes are super soft and comfortable! I'm a bit wide in feet and it doesn't feel tight. The best converse I ever had :) the only thing I'm missing is the cotton cloth inside the shoes, I wish it'd be there

Super Comfy
I love these shoes. I have a pair now; I wore them out. The sides are coming unglued. I don't even remember how old they are, probably at least 5 years old; but I wear them as much as possible - this is my go-to everything, all activities, not doing anything shoe. Husband is tired of seeing them on me, so I bought a new pair! Instead of canvas, this time I bought the leather (I didn't see that the first time). Still very comfy, toe box is large to not be pinching, or have to "wear them in". They are a little stiff, but that's the leather part, that will wear in with time. Currently thinking about another pair in a different color. Good job guys, don't change a thing!

Comfortable Classic
I bought these Chuck Taylor All Star Leather shoes for my husband who loves his converse for everyday use. The leather option makes it easier to keep them clean and although they run a little big, we already know to order a half size smaller with converse shoes. They look great and go with just about everything. Highly recommend!

ALL STAR LEATHER AND COMFORTABLE
Felt comfortable first time l put them on and if it wasn’t for the snow we are having ( here in Ohio) l would be wearing them every day, we are having some really great weather this weekend , like in the high 50s, so l will be wearing them again. Great shoe, they do run a little small so l ordered a half size larger and they fit perfectly

Classic good looks in leather!
Excellent! Been wearing chucks for 45 years and these are built like the originals. Leather is an added bonus, great looks fit and quality. These do run a little larger but are all I wear so the fit is right on. If you're new to chucks probably want to order a 1/2 size larger than normal.
